after the storm

so many photos

so many poems

we are all on our way home

some get there sooner

some get there later

fresh out of the chrysalis

instead of many legs

changing my mood

to carry on

hangin' on

election day

getting ready

for a big change

October's end

dark gloomy day

on the wall

a butterfly's wing

I never had time to paint

cirrus clouds

hanging on

wondering which way

the wind will blow next

progress...

cloudy day

mom notices

how blue the sky is

as the sun sets

again mom asks

if it's still tuesday

once again half of the moon

tangled up

in the glory

of morning

finding more time

to garden
